When the “me” is asked to describe itself – it starts
with what it thinks it knows : a name, likes/dislikes, choices it’s made,
places it’s been, the body’s birth place, its friends, family, jobs, beliefs …
What is never mentioned … "aliveness"…
The “me” describes someone in time and space – a
story, a collection of thoughts that seem to come with an energetic
contraction, giving the appearance of limitation in the body. However what the
‘me’ never talks about is this aliveness that always is, that isn’t limited nor
coming from anything … it never changes, even though the forms appear to
change, the scenery, smells, colours, people, thoughts, feelings, they all
change – but aliveness always is.
