Truth

Right now you are 100% seeing all the truth that could ever be. You think you are not seeing it but it is impossible to avoid. You are fully enlightened and you could never be otherwise. The simple ordinary awareness that you have of anything that arises either in the world, or in your mind is the truth. There is nothing more to enlightenment than realizing directly that what is appearing in awareness, "before" you take claim of it, is the truth. The Ultimate Reality is that there is not, nor has there ever been a you to take claim of any object of awareness. There is no self. Enlightenment is simply pure selfless awareness of everything that arises moment to moment. It is a ghostly feeling of non-being combined with hammering clarity. It is a shimmering beauty beyond earthly description that is felt by emptiness. You are that emptiness and have always been that. There has only ever been enlightenment. There has only ever been existence/awareness. Feel the emptiness, your non-being as the universe expands to infinity. Walk into a crowded room and never find yourself. If you can do these then you will know you are already enlightened and in that knowing you will realize you have always known this and yet have never existed to know it. Whether you rest in your ignorance or your knowledge, you have arrived.

Jealousy

Spiritual jealousy is the most clever hidden, still the same simple mechanism running: "me having/knowing and not wanting others have/know the same", "others having and me not". This simply points to belief in separation -me being a separate being who can have, know. We recite oneness affirmations, and even truly believe we are awake. But we are awake to the fact that there is no separation in the reality...the fact is an information, a belief in the mind, a habit we learnt well from reading, attending, listening, pondering...It's not integrated into the Being, not lived yet. The first step is just to be honest with yourself and notice what is reality is. Not as we think it is, but what is: jealousy, then jealousy... feeling separate, then feeling separate...feeling pour me, then feeling pour me...feeling stingy, then feeling stingy... just seeing what is has more potency to open the door, because its a right key, then bunch of fake keys about "my awakening is better then your awakening"... "I am special"..." I want to be one awakened"..."I want to be special"..."there is nobody here, but there are others over there", but "I am surely special"...

Program -free living

Most people who say they want enlightenment are most likely after what I'd call program free living. It seems a pity that this distinction is not made within the awakening/enlightenment arena because this clarification would help a lot of people. It's completely obvious. You can check for yourself right now, this very instant, to see what your seeking is all about - and if you are truly after enlightenment. If you want a better, happier, more satisfying, more bliss-filled, more peaceful and problem-free life, relationship, job, money situation, family life, etc. you are NOT after enlightenment. You are after the exact opposite: a better experience for your self in this world. Which, by the way, is completely valid and commendable. It's fine to want something better ....it just has nothing to do with enlightenment!

How do you free yourself form thoughts?

"To be free from thoughts is itself meditation. You begin by letting thoughts flow and watching them"
- Nisargadatta Maharaj

There are many tools to work with, some contemporary, some intuitive, others ancient and classical. They use practices such as yoga postures, breathing exercises, chanting, meditative inquiry, affirmations, and negations including simple thought exercises, surrender, chakras, diet, recent scientific studies validating the work, reasons for practice, sitting meditation, what awakening is like and what it isn’t, background texts including Ramana Maharshi’s Upadesa Saram, Shankara’s Nirvana Shatakam, and selections from the Bhagavaad Gita, and many dialogues and discussions with students.

Much of the work focuses on watching thoughts in different situations and investigating their structure. These approaches have been used for thousands of years and have been rediscovered by virtually every culture. It is not necessary to change your name, clothing, or hairdo, adopt some strange customs, travel to a distant location, retire from the “world”, stop working, or give away one’s possessions to engage in this work.
Teachings of Ramana Maharshi), Nisargadatta Maharaj (I Am That), Bassui (Three Pillars of Zen), Douglas Harding (Look for Yourself), Tony Parsons (As It Is), Adyashanti (My Secret is Silence), and advaita vedanta are useful stuff, but the you- you think you are can do nothing at all.

Fernando Pessoa

Forever travellers in ourself.
The landscapes are what we are.
We own nothing because we don't even own ourself.

We have nothing because we are nothing.
What hands should i reach out for which universe?

The universe is not mine: i am it

Frenando Pessoa
